Kids' & Children's Haircuts
Patient, no-fuss cuts for kids — calm chair, quick work, done right.
About this service
Kids' haircuts at Love Thy Barber are unhurried and friendly. The standard kids' cut is $30 and includes a shampoo and a styled finish with product. For babies and young toddlers ages 0–10, the Child/Baby Special is $24.
The studio stays calm and parent-friendly — sit with your child the whole time if they're nervous. Boys' cuts, girls' cuts, first-ever haircuts, and back-to-school cleanups all welcome.
Who it’s for
Boys and girls — first haircuts, picture-day trims, sports-season cleanups, and the in-between maintenance cut.
What to expect
- 1
Welcome
We greet your child by name and let them see the tools before anything starts — slow and easy for first-timers.
- 2
Parent consult
A quick chat about how short, what shape, and any sensitivity around ears or neck.
- 3
Cut
Patient clipper and scissor work with breaks if they need them. Most cuts run 15–20 minutes.
- 4
Shampoo, style & finish
A shampoo and a light styled finish, a mirror reveal, and a sticker for the first-timers.
How long it lasts
Most kids rebook every 4–6 weeks; faster for sharp fades, slower for grown-out longer styles.
Aftercare
- ✓Any gentle, sulfate-free kids' shampoo works.
- ✓A spritz of leave-in before brushing keeps tangles away.
- ✓Trim every 4–6 weeks for shape, 8–10 for length.
- ✓Keep products simple — kids under 10 don't need much.
