Driving from Salt Lake City

From downtown Salt Lake City, the run down to Sandy is one of the most predictable commutes in the metro. Hop on I-15 South from any of the downtown on-ramps — 600 South, 900 South, or 21st South — and take exit 295 at 10600 South. We're three blocks east of the freeway on State Street, in the 10965 building. Sugar House regulars usually take 1300 East south to 9000 South, then cut west to State; the Avenues crowd typically drops down State Street the whole way and arrives in about twenty minutes outside of rush hour. From 9th & 9th or Liberty Wells, 700 East to 9400 South is the cleanest route. Most SLC clients are at the chair fifteen to twenty minutes after they pull out of their driveway.

Major routes locals take: I-15 South · I-215 East · State Street · 700 East · 1300 East. The studio address is 10965 State St #217, Sandy, UT 84070.

Services Salt Lake City Books Most

Every Salt Lake City client gets the same chair time, the same listening, and the same finish — these are just the appointments we book most often from your zip code.

Balayage & Lived-In Color

Sugar House and Avenues clients book hand-painted balayage every twelve weeks; the low-maintenance grow-out is exactly what people who already commute don't want to fuss over.

Editorial Blowouts

Quick polish blowouts before downtown weddings, gallery openings, and Eccles Theater nights — book a 4 PM and you're back on I-15 by 5.

Men's Precision Cut

Tech and finance professionals from the downtown towers come down for a scissor cut that keeps shape between trims, plus a hot-towel finish.

Built for Salt Lake City regulars

Sammy is downtown-trained and color-fluent — clients who used to drive for high-end balayage in 9th & 9th now book ten minutes earlier and pay less without sacrificing the technique.

Late-afternoon and Saturday slots stay open longer than most SLC studios, which fits the after-work crowd coming south on I-15 instead of fighting downtown parking.

The studio is reachable in under twenty minutes from almost any SLC neighborhood, which means a fresh blowout before a Friday dinner at Pago or a wedding at Red Butte is genuinely realistic.

Parking

If you're used to circling Sugar House looking for a meter, the lot here will be a relief — free, plenty of stalls, and a straight shot back to I-15. Come in from State Street and park near Suite 217.

Balayage

I was paying twice as much in Sugar House. Drove down to Sandy on a friend's recommendation and Sammy did the cleanest balayage I've ever had. The 15-minute trip is nothing.

Scissor Cut

Worth coming south of downtown. Free parking, real conversation, and a cut that actually grows out the way it should. I book every six weeks now.
