This page covers how Love Thy Barber (“we”, “our”, “the studio”) handles information collected through this website and what to expect when you book, shop, or contact us. Plain English, no surprises.

What we collect

• Booking & contact info — your name, email, phone (if provided), and any notes you add when you book or send a message. We use this to confirm appointments, follow up on services, and respond to questions.
• Order info — when you buy products, we collect shipping address, email, and item details. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never store full card numbers on our servers.
• Site analytics — anonymous page views, click events, scroll depth, and basic device info (mobile vs desktop, viewport size). We use this to improve the site. We do not sell or share this data.

How we use it

• To confirm and operate your appointment, order, or message.
• To send transactional emails (booking confirmations, order receipts, shipping updates).
• If you opted in to the newsletter, occasional tips and offers — unsubscribe any time.
• To improve the website (which pages convert, where users get stuck, etc.).

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or send unsolicited messages.

Payments

All payments — products, deposits, donations — are processed by Stripe. Stripe is a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Card details are entered on Stripe-hosted pages and never touch our servers.

Email

Transactional emails (booking confirmations, order receipts) are sent via Resend. Newsletter and marketing emails include a one-click unsubscribe link.

Cookies & analytics

We use a single first-party session cookie to track anonymous on-site analytics (no third-party trackers, no advertising cookies). You can disable cookies in your browser without breaking the site.

Your rights

You can request a copy of any personal data we have on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@lovethybarber.shop and we’ll handle it within 30 days.

Booking & cancellation

• Booking confirms instantly online; we’ll send an email receipt.
• Reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours ahead by replying to your confirmation email.
• No-shows or same-day cancellations may incur a fee on color services and bridal trials.

Shop returns

Hair products can be returned within 30 days, opened or unopened, for a full refund. Email us with the order number to start a return.

Site terms

This site is provided as-is. Content (including blog posts, photos, schemas, and graphics) belongs to Love Thy Barber. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and used under the Open Database License.

Changes

If we update this policy materially, we’ll bump the date at the top and, for existing customers, send a notice. Minor wording fixes happen without notice.
