Where are you located?+
Inside Salon Lofts at 10965 State St, Suite 217, Sandy, UT 84070 — just off the 9000 South exit on I-15. Free covered parking out front.
What are your hours?+
Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM. Closed Sunday. By appointment only — book online any time and confirmation is instant.
Do you take walk-ins?+
Love Thy Barber is by appointment only. Sammy is a single-stylist studio with a focused chair, so every visit is scheduled online — booking takes about 90 seconds, confirmation is instant, and new-client appointments typically book about a week in advance.
How do I cancel or reschedule?+
Reply to your confirmation email at least 24 hours ahead and we'll move you. No-shows or same-day cancellations may incur a fee on color services.
Do you take credit cards / Apple Pay?+
Yes — all major cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Affirm (for orders over $250), and cash.
Pricing
How much is a women's haircut?+
Women's Cut & Style starts at $65 (60 min), including a real consultation, wash, and blowout. Long or thick hair may run $75–$95 depending on detail.
How much is a men's haircut?+
Men's Classic Cut starts at $35 (30 min). Fade & Taper is $40 (30–45 min). Beard Trim is $25 (20 min). Combo: cut + beard is $55.
How much does balayage cost?+

Do you offer financing?+
For appointments over $250, Love Thy Barber accepts Affirm at checkout. Most clients split a $250 balayage into 4 interest-free payments.
Are tips expected?+
15–20% is standard in Salt Lake County. Cash or card both work. Not required, always appreciated.
Color & Balayage
How long does balayage last?+
Most clients rebook a maintenance paint every 12–16 weeks, with a 30-minute toning gloss every 6–8 weeks to keep tone fresh.
Will going lighter damage my hair?+
Lifting hair always changes its structure, but bond-builders woven into the lightener dramatically reduce damage. Sammy will tell you up front if your goal needs more than one session to reach safely.
Can you fix a color from another salon?+
Yes — color corrections are one of Sammy's specialties. Bring photos and we'll quote it during the consultation.
Should I come with clean or dirty hair for color?+
Day-old hair holds color and lift better. Do not shampoo right before your appointment.
Men's Hair
What types of fades do you do?+
All of them: low fade, mid fade, high fade, skin fade, taper fade, drop fade, burst fade. Bring a photo if you have a specific look in mind.
How often should I get a fade?+
Skin fades 1–2 weeks. Mid/low fades 2–3 weeks. High fades 1.5–2.5 weeks. The shorter and tighter the fade, the more often you want it refreshed.
Do you cut kids hair?+
Yes. Book a Men's Classic Cut for boys and a Women's Cut for girls — kid-friendly pricing on weekday afternoons.
Do you do hot lather neck shaves?+
Yes — included with every Men's Classic Cut and Fade. A standalone hot towel shave runs $50.
Bridal
Do you do bridal hair?+
Yes. Bridal trials are $90 (applied toward the wedding-day price). Booking opens about 6 months out for peak season.
Do you travel to my wedding venue?+
On-site bridal styling is available within 30 miles of Sandy. Travel fee depends on distance and party size.
Do you do bridesmaid hair too?+
Yes. Bridesmaid blowouts are $55 each. Most parties book the bride trial first, then add bridesmaids closer to the date.

What products do you use?+
Salon-grade lines: Olaplex, Redken Shades EQ, Wella, Schwarzkopf, professional bond-builders. Take-home favorites are in /shop with free shipping over $50.
Can I buy the products you use on me?+
Yes. Most professional products from your appointment are available in /shop. Free shipping on US orders over $50.
Do you ship outside Utah?+
Yes — anywhere in the US. Most orders arrive in 2–3 business days from Sandy, UT.
